Introduce
The third-generation single module CW fiber laser series developed by Raycus ranges from 300W to 2,000W, the new lasers has higher electro-optical conversion efficiency, higher and more stable optical quality, stronger altitude stress-resisting capacity and it applies optimized second-generation fiber transmission system to ensure more stable and more sophisticated cutting effect in thick sheet cutting. This machine applies to many application scenarios: cutting, welding, holing, medical device processing, etc., with a narrow seam of the cut sheet and bright section. Compared with same lasers, it has obvious advantages.
Applications
Scribe line
By focusing the single mode laser beam, a small spot with high brightness will be achieved, which means ideal technical parameters, such as line width, line depth, heat affected zone and line intersecting surface. There are mainly 2 applications:
1) By sending modulated pulse signals to the laser source, and working together with galvo scanning lens or X-Y table, discontinuous scribe line (point or short-line) can be achieved.
2) By sending continuous emitting signals to the laser source, and working together with galvo scanning lens or X-Y table, continuous scribe line (line) can be achieved. To get deep line with even bottom, please make the laser beam not perpendicular to the materials surface and add air or nitrogen.
Drilling holes in thin plate
Medium power single mode CW Single-mode optical fiber diameter is no more than 25um. Smaller focusing spot will be achieved with the same external optical devices. It has an advantage in drilling micro hole in thin plate. The hole is small, the speed is high and the uniformity is high.
Metal welding
Medium power fiber laser source outputs the energy less than 1KW. To get high welding strength and certain welding depth, the focusing spot is relatively small and generally applied to welding thin metal with small welding width and big welding depth. It also can be used for 3D precision spot welding.
Fine cutting
High quality sing mode laser beam leads to highly bright focusing spot. This increases the materials melting speed greatly in metal processing and results in high speed and high quality processing. It’s processing performance is as good as multi-mode CW fiber laser source and has the highest price-quality ratio in the field of fine cutting metal.
We can offer 10-1000W single mode CW fiber laser source for processing highly reflective materials. The higher the power is, the greater processing capacity and processing speed are.
3D print, rapid prototyping
The beam quality of medium power fiber laser source is close to optical limit. The spot mode and energy distribution consistency are good, the optical response is quick and peak power output is stable. So, there is great demand in 3D rapid prototyping.
Surface Treatment
Laser can clean metal materials by vaporizing or burning without damage to the base materials. Together with galvo scanning system or X-Y table, and proper optics devices, the medium power fiber laser can be made into laser cleaning device.
For some applications of surface modification by quick heating, fiber laser is a good energy source. With 3D galvo scanning system, it can realize 3D processing.
